Carbon neutrality is the concept of balancing greenhouse gas emissions output with investment in carbon offsets or renewable energy, or sequestration of greenhouse gases. Carbon neutrality may also be referred to as climate neutrality, emphasizing that there are other greenhouse gases in play in climate change in addition to carbon dioxide.
