Energy Awareness Committee

The Energy Awareness Committee at the Medical School, which recently changed to the Sustainability Awareness Committee, is designed to

  • Engage faculty, staff and students in being more responsible with energy use at work and home.
  • Develop best practices and communicate these to faculty, staff and students.
  • Publicize ongoing energy conservation initiatives.
  • Gather energy conservation ideas from faculty, staff and students.

Representatives to the committee include business and lab managers, interested students and researchers, representatives from facilities and other interested constituents. The committee meets once per month. Contact Jim Stueber for more information at stueberj@wustl.edu.

On the Danforth Campus, the Energy Awareness Committee works on a variety of issues relating to energy awareness. Subcommittees on the Danforth Campus include academics, public awareness and IT, as well as working with the labs committee at the Medical School. For more information, please contact Deborah Howard at deborah_howard@wustl.edu.
