Recycling
Recycling is taking used materials and converting them into new products. Recycling reduces waste as well as reducing the need for fresh raw materials. Most materials are recyclable, although some are particularly expensive to recycle and the demand for different materials is not equal.
Typically, metal, glass, plastics, paper and cardboard are recycled. For more information about recycling, see the EPA website.
